About Department

Primary Education Department has been elevated as elementary education department for the the implementation of RTE in 2009. The department is performing its duties. Elementary Education Department was created as a separate department for implementation of Right to Education Act., 2009. This department performing his duties for enrolment, retention and providing free compulsory education to 6 to 14 years age group children in the State. The provision of funds for the development of these sectors is being made keeping in view the availability of State resources for education sector and Assistance School.
