Guidelines to Fill the Preference Form of PGT online councelling


Guidelines to Fill the Preference Form:
Click on 'Fill / Edit Preference Form' Link provided in Left Menu.
Select District & Block and click on 'Search School' Button. A list of all the Schools under that District & Block will be displayed
Click on check box given in front of the Schools in the Select column to choose the School of your choice. You can select any number of Schools from the selected District & Block. After selecting the Schools of your choice, click on 'ADD Preference' Button.
You can select another District & Block from the list and repeat the process as mentioned in point no 3. All the Preferences you have selected are saved as your short listed Preferences.
In case you want to remove some Preferences selected by you then click on the 'Delete' button given in front of Institutes Name in the Shortlisted Institutes List.
Click on the 'Proceed' Button only after you add all the School Preferences of your choice.
The next page will display all the preferences selected by you
If you want to change the short listed Preferences then you are also allowed to do so.


You can go on clicking one by one on the check box given in front of the Preference to set preferences with highest priority first.
If you wish to reset the preferences then click on ‘Reset Preferences’ button.
The school choices as per the order of preference will be displayed
You can modify preferences, add choices,and delete choices before confirmation of the online Preference Form.
If the school preferences are finalized then confirm your Preference Form and take print out of FINAL Receipt-Cum-Acknowledgement of Preference form. You can repeat these steps as many times as you want till you Confirm your Preference Form.
It is mandatory to CONFIRM the Preference form by the applicant. If the form is not confirmed, then the form will not be considered for further allotment.
The Online Preference form once confirmed by the candidate cannot be changed /cancelled.
Candidate should take the printout of the online preference form after confirmation. It shall be needed to be presented at the time of document verification.
Candidates should fill up the information correctly regarding preferential category. In case the information is found wrong at the time of document verification, candidate shall be considered in Non-preferential category irrespective of his/her gender.
Stations shall be allocated in accordance with the policy of the department. Candidates should select at least 25 Schools, in order to get school of your choice in the first attempt.
