General Instructions for the candidates
1. The portal has been created to provide transparency and equal right to fill
online choice of required stations.
2. All candidates selected on the post of PGT English, Hindi and Economics are
requested to fill up school preferences online by visiting the website
www.pgtcounseling.in by using the login id and password sent to their mobile
numbers.
3. To ensure that you could get station of your choice candidates are requested
to choose at least 25 stations in order of preference. They should allocate first
preference to the school which is on top priority.
4. Male candidates are requested not to select any girls school because as per
policy of the Department, Male teachers below the age of 50 years are not
eligible to be appointed in Girls Schools.
5. User Names and Passwords have been sent to all candidates on the mobile
numbers registered mobile numbers at the time of applying online in
response to the advertisement for the said post. In case of change of mobile
number submitted by the candidates at the time of document verification,
user name and passwords have been sent to the changed mobile numbers.
6. It has been noticed that some candidates have contacted to the Directorate of
School Education, Haryana that they have not received the password and they
also have not changed their mobile number. On verification, it was found that
such telephone numbers are wrongly submitted by the candidate and
following type of errors have been occurred at the time of submission of
application by them:-
a. They have missed one digit of the mobile number resulting in
incomplete mobile number.
b. Some candidates have submitted land line numbers instead of mobile
number. User name and password can only be sent on the mobile
number.
7. Therefore, such candidates are advised to check their mobile number carefully
which they had submitted at the time of applying for the post and verify again
for any discrepancy in it.
