Sub: - Providing of Broadband connectivity in ICT Lab in 2622 Govt. High/Sr. Sec. Schools.
Please refer to the subject noted above.
It was decided that Broadband connectivity should be provided in all ICT Labs in
Govt. High/Sr. Sec. Schools managed by M/s CORE Education & Technologies Ltd. The
proposal to provide Broadband connectivity was taken-up with M/s BSNL vide letter No.
3/38-2010 CEC (1) dated 29.10.2010. However, BSNL could provide Broadband
connectivity in 862 Schools only.
While reviewing ICT Scheme in 2622 Schools being implemented by M/s CORE
Education & Technologies Ltd. it has been decided that Broadband connectivity should be
made available in all the ICT Labs in Govt. High/Sr. Sec. Schools irrespective of availability
by any company. It has also been decided that broadband connectivity should be arranged
by the Principal/Headmaster of the concerned schools at their own level where Broadband
connectivity is not presently available, by making payment out of contingency fund of
school. It is further made clear that providing of Broadband connectivity in ICT Labs under
ICT Scheme is the liability of the department as per provisions of contract agreement
executed with M/s CORE.
It is therefore, requested that the above instruction may be issued /circulated to all
the Principal/Headmaster of the Schools in your District to take immediate steps to get the
Broadband connection from BSNL or any other company with maximum speed in those

Thank you for sharing the information. I would like to tell that I too have recently found a site called streamlinevoice who is providing the service in security camera, phone system, broadband etc.
