The University Grants Commission has been extend the last date of online application for UGC NET 30.06.2013 exam.The notification for UGC NET Exam 30.06.2013 already issued.According to notification the exam will be held on 30 June 2013 at various exam centres in India.The last date for online applications is now 03.05.2013 instead of 30.04.2013.This time 2 new coordination centres are created- Guru Jambheswar University of Science & Technology,Hisar and YMCA University at Faridabad,Haryana.Important dates are as under-Last date for Applying Online application & generation of filled Bank Challan for

Fee : 03.05.2013.Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan in Sate Bank of India : 06.05.2013.Last date of taking printout of Application Form : 09.05.2013
Age Limit for NET Exam 30.06.2013 -Age for Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2013. No age limit considered for UGC NET Exam.
Examination Fee-450/-for General category Candidates,225/- for OBC candidates and 110 for Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe/Physically Handicapped  candidates.

Schedule of Examination-
Paper-1=100 marks,60 out of which 50 question to be attempted,Time of Exam: 09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M
Paper-2=100 Marks,50 questions,Time of Exam: 10.45 A.M. to 12.00 Noon
Paper-3=150 Marks,75 questions,Time of Exam: 01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.

Qualifying Criteria for UGC NET 30 June 2013 Exam-

In step-1 =For category General :Paper-1=40% marks,Paper-2=40% marks,Paper-3=50%  marks,For category OBC Non Creamy Layer :Paper-1=35% marks,Paper-2 35% marks and Paper-3=67.5% marks (Rounded off to 68)
For category PWD/Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste : Paper-1=35 % marks,Paper-2=35% marks,Paper-3=40% marks.
In Step-2 :Merit list subject-wise and category-wise .
In Step-3 : Top 15% candidates will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for lectureship only.
In Step-4 : A separate merit list prepared for the award of JRF .
