VALIDITY OF STET CERTIFICATE AS PER HTET 2011 PROSPECTUS

(iii) Validity of already qualified STET

certificate of all the above said three

categories will continue for a period of

five years (from the date of passing

on the pattern of present HTET), inst

ead of unspecified period as per

earlier notification dated 24

July 2009.

(iv) There is no restriction on the num

ber of attempts a person can take for

acquiring HTET Certificate.

(v) Candidates who have already quali

fied STET will have the option to

appear in the fresh HTET to improve thei

r score, if they

so desire as the

weightage will be given to HTET scor

e at the time of recruitment.

Note: i) Old STET Certificate of J

BT Category will be valid for Classes

I to V only.

ii) Old STET Certificate of Ma

ster Category will be valid for

Classes VI to VIII only.

iii) Old Certificate of STET (Lect

urer) shall be considered as

valid for eligibility for Lecturer/PGT category.
